Night Curfew in Maharashtra from 22nd December 2020

Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray announced that all municipal corporation areas in Maharashtra will impose a 7 hour night curfew from 22nd December up to 5th January. The curfew will begin daily from 11 pm in the night up to 6 am in the morning. Here’s a list of things that you can and cannot do.

Essential services like vegetable & milk supply will remain unaffected during night curfew. All shops, barring essential services like medical stores, will have to shut down by 11 pm.
Only five people can assemble at a place during the seven- hour-long period. All non-essential travel will not be allowed after 11 pm.
Police will be deployed during curfew time. So step outside only for emergencies. More than five people cannot assemble outside during the specified hours.
Wear masks at all times you step out of your house. Maintain social distance, avoid crowds, and sanitize hands. All flights originating from the UK to India will be suspended from 11.59 pm on 22nd Dec till 11.59 pm on 31st Dec.
